ALLAN MORGAN

His professional career has since focused mainly on realistic landscape painting, although he has also enjoyed considerable success as an illustrator. He has recently extended his style to encompass a more “colourist” approach in much of his work. The basis of his inspiration remains largely the same, namely the love of light, colour and atmosphere in landscape. Influences in Allan’s paintings are varied and include the Pre-Raphaelites, fauvists and impressionists.

ROZANNE BELL

Ever since I first picked up a paintbrush with my mother as a little girl, the compulsion to paint has dominated my life. I know that the extraordinary colours, light and contrasts of Zimbabwe where I grew up and had to leave twelve years ago, are to blame. Art became and has ever been my friend, supporting my children and me throughout. Starting with exhibitions of animals and flowers at the age of sixteen, I have expanded my repertoire to include landscapes and country scenes, harbours, twilight and moon light scenes and even space and galaxy paintings

LEANNE CHRISTIE

Her paintings of wild flower meadows and English country gardens are unmistakably vibrant and dazzling. Once seen, never forgotten.

Professionally painting for over twenty years, art and design has always been an important part of Leanne's family life. Some of her earliest memories are of watching her mum sketching and painting in her art studio. She grew up surrounded by paint, brushes, the smell of turps and canvases, which formed an interest in art from an early age.

NEIL CARROLL

“I don't set out to paint what is in front of me, I try to create something with atmosphere and interest based on the subject. I remove as much detail as possible and paint as broadly as my mood allows”.

Neil is a self-taught artist from London. His wish to become a painter was always blocked by real life commitments, but the desire never left him. Painting in oils since 2011, Neil fulfilled his ambition, becoming a full-time artist in 2017.

NICK POTTER

Nick paints mainly in acrylics and acrylic inks, loving their versatility and quick- drying properties, but he also employs various mixed media techniques and textures, and is known for his variety of painting styles. Nick’s love of wild landscapes and seascapes fuels his desire to paint them, alongside his concerns regarding the pressures upon them in today’s environmentally unfriendly world.

DANNY ABRAHAMS

Art has now become the focal point of Danny’s life. As a true Yorkshire man he is influenced by the local beauty of the northern landscape, and has been inspired by his many travels during his previous career. Combining these images with memories of ‘growing up’ appeals to everyone with a soft spot for nostalgia.

JAYNE DEACH

rom being a young girl I have always liked painting. This took a back seat when I moved to Malaga in Spain, where I lived for many years, focusing on work and raising my children. I returned to the UK four years ago and returned to my painting. I love creating and am proud of my paintings

AMANDA STRATFORD

The vibrancy and colour of the West Indies stayed with her after her return to England seven years later, when she moved into the world of themed exhibitions, designing colourful, sculptural sets into which story-lines were carefully woven. These displays inspired the seed of the idea for her portraits; each one designed to tell a story - to reveal glimpses of the personality as well as the face you know so well.
