Our Story

Smart Gallery offers a fabulous range of original artwork, prints, sculpture, and design-led gifts from local artists, alongside wonderful emerging talents.

Since 1999, Smart Gallery has been an independent, family-run business, headed by Shelley Cohen, initially based at Redbrick Mill, Batley, then opening in Crimple Hall, Pannal, and then moving entirely to the stand-alone Gallery in Chapel Allerton that we see today.

Now under the care of Mike Baggs, Smart Gallery continues to hold true to all the values that have made it what it is. Mike is the 3rd generation of his own family business and has vast experience within the fine art and framing industries.

The gallery is managed on a day-to-day basis by Izzy Walker and we guarantee you a warm welcome and a relaxing environment in which to browse and enjoy 2 floors of beautiful art and design ware, which can all be purchased online with free UK delivery on all items over £100.00

Smart Gallery also offers an in-house bespoke picture framing service, which covers all aspects of framing. With a vastly experienced framing team and years of framing expertise behind us, we can cater for all framing requirements.
